I love this product! I left out the glue and just made my own. To be honest I used every sticky thing I had at home. FIRST I tried hair gel (yes, hair gel), taped it to the wall and it works! It's been a week and the gold flakes still adorn my wall beautifully. SECOND, I bought clear glue (Elmers) from the .99 cent store, which also worked. But since glue is much stickier than hair gel, the flakes crumbled a lot more, which is certainly not a bad thing, there is just a more crumbly appearance. I have not yet applied a shine or top coat over the flakes. but so far my walls are still holding the flakes very well. I plan on ordering more because I just want to decorate everything I have with these pieces of paper!
