After receiving this greenhouse and assembling it, I have a few words of advice for those who may be put off by the bad reviews of it. These are partially caused by the manufacturer instructions, and partially by the inexperience of the reviewers in RTA construction.First, the instructions state that there are no tools required. This is only partially true. Upon securing the first support, I realized that merely pushing the steel rods into the polypropylene supports only partially seated them. This would result in a collapse of the structure. I immediately got out my trusty rubber mallet and after I had set each rod into the support, I gave it a few light taps. The rods were seated firmly and resulted in the frame being very structurally sound.I then, as many other reviewers have suggested, secured the wire shelves with cable ties at five points on each shelf. Before I slipped the exterior onto the frame, I unzipped one zipper and it pulled over the structure like a glove.I have the greenhouse in my sunroom to start seedlings, but would have no qualms about placing it outside.but I would make sure that it backs up against a flat surface so that it can be secured at four points, upper and lower. This only weighs about 20 lbs. and is top heavy in dimensions, so of course if it isn't secured it's going to blow down, especially with the door open.it becomes a big kite. Common sense should prevail here.So here's my advice to newbies in ready to assemble pieces. 1. Have a small rubber mallet or something to tap the rods into place. DO NOT TRY TO MERELY PUSH THEM IN. Pushing them in will result in a fragile structure. 2. Be sure to have some cable ties or garden ties to secure the shelves. (Wishing the manufacturer would include these, they are crucial to the stability.) 3. If you are going to place it outside, SECURE IT WELL TO A WALL OR TRELLIS. 4. Before you assemble, COUNT THE PIECES. If there are any missing, call for a return by Ebay (free pickup and return) before you have it partially assembled and discover a missing piece. 5. Use common sense. Lack of it is probably the biggest reason for product failure.I placed twenty pounds of books on a shelf, and it didn't even groan. This greenhouse is great, and a bargain for the money!
