After having too many problems trimming a candle wick after it burned through I decided to look for a trimmer instead of scissors. Making the wick so short that it was difficult to light was often a problem with the scissors, and then there was the dilemma of having to get rid of the burnt wick that was on top of the candle. Now I can trim the wick exactly where I need it and the trimmer makes it easy for me to get rid of the cut off portion of the wick that needs to be thrown away. The tagger works great too, it puts out the flames so I don't have to blow on it or get very close to put it out for good. So definitely less smoke and safer. The wick trowel also works as described and will put out the flame with less smoke if that method is desired. Made of stainless steel, the Lingben candle accessory set is durable and works great, making the candle burning even more enjoyable. The box makes it easy to gift or store unused tools.
