Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Panaracer Self-Sealing Bicycle Tubes: Presta Valve, Various Sizes, 33-60 mm, Single/Two Pack by Jay Williams

useful for cyclists

I ride my bike to work every day so I installed these inner tubes to avoid punctures. I can point to at least one case where this worked: one morning I couldn't avoid a big pothole in the road which must have caused a slow leak because the front tire was flat when I got home from work and out into the public had to transport home. Back home I pumped up the tire again to see if the tube would hold. And months later it seems to be holding up! I'm deducting a star because the valve often gets stuck in the closed or open position and doesn't work as accurately as non-mucus tubes. Also, sometimes a slimy mist comes out of the valve when you try to connect the pump. So make sure you turn your back on the valve and wear gloves when inflating those tires! If someone could make some slime tubing with quick acting, leak proof Presta valves I would pay more for it.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive
