This light is expensive. However, I am glad that I have invested in a higher quality and very well made Lite. The light is very bright (even when it's not off. This is the brightest setting). The fastening system is very strong and well designed for easy assembly and discounting. I am not worried about losing the light on ANY trip. It takes a few hours to charge, but that's not a problem. Seems to be a very well made and reliable product. FYI - the instruction manuals don't seem to state this. But the red light will flash/pulse while charging, then turn blue when the charge is full.
