Review on Rancho RS999285 RS9000XL Series Shock by Craig Kumar

2006 F-150 Rancho in parts

Rancho kit. I first asked a neighbor for help with quick front end lifters that raise the front end a few inches. The front shocks were much more difficult to install compared to the rear shocks, a big difference. The rear shocks lasted a maximum of ten minutes each. I'm by no means a shade tree mechanic, and if I can do it, anyone can. I can't believe how easy they were to install, I really think my 9 year old son could do it! I didn't even think I needed shocks (80k miles) but I was wrong. When the old shocks were removed, they didn't even recover when compressed. They definitely needed to be replaced. Rancho has a promotion where you pay for a high quality shock that compares to cheaper shocks. My truck drives like a tank, but it's a smooth tank, what's the difference.
