With the removal of the lubricity in modern diesel fuel it is not surprising why such parts fail. This replacement voting magnet works perfectly! It's all plug and play, but there are a few things you should know before you buy this particular part. 1) No fuel line clamps are supplied which you will most likely need as the old ones are almost guaranteed to break. (My local auto parts store had them for $3) 2) it's a DIRTY exchange! Fuel will be everywhere! So a few things to consider: 1) drain fuel from the fuel tanks 2) buy hose clamps 3) have a drain pan handy 4) put on some rags which you can totally ruin because getting a lot of diesel out of your clothes is harder than it is.
