Review on πŸš— Enhanced Performance Brake Kit: Power Stop K2139 Front Z23 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads, Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors by Chris Lemm

Great upgrade quality for my 2002 Dakota Quad Cab

I bought this kit 2 years ago in anticipation of a planned 100% overhaul of the entire front suspension. I just finished a job a month ago and after new tires and precise alignment the truck drives and drives like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Basically it's a ban. As for this kit Rotar & Pad. Couldn't be happier. Stops are smooth, firm, precise and quiet. Does not pull or pulsate. A significant improvement over stock brakes. The caliper was also replaced with a Mopar. After finding a brake line leak in a metal clamp 3 years ago, I rewound 100% of the brake line with 3/16 Ni-Cop hoses. A highly recommended must-have project as the factory is a ticking time bomb waiting to expire at any moment. Don't wait until you get stuck or have an accident. Ni-cop is easy to use and you don't have to worry about wires. Let's get back to the Power Stop rotors/pads. It's been a month and I'm very happy. I am amazed that the rotors are still bright and shiny. It rained a lot here and they still look great and stop. Whatever the rotors are treated with, it works. The coverings with ceramic/carbon fiber are convincing. There is also a big difference in the absence of brake dust. With stock rotors and semi-metal pads, they always looked like crap 2 or 3 days after cleaning my wheels. Dirty, with brown rusty manure on the wheels. No longer. I am very satisfied with the quality and performance and would buy them again at any time. This is for my daily driver who I'm not strict with. As for the race/competition results, I can't confirm that. But for my use I'm happier than any front brake I've had before.
