Review on 🚲 XLAB Right Sidekick Carbon Bottle Holder by Billy Berry

Bought this cage at a bike shop while setting up my new mountain bike. Since I've been waiting, I've started comparing all the available cell models (a bunch!). They had about 5 different models of XLAB carbon frames. They immediately appealed to me because they are so smooth and light, but I couldn't decide between different models. I've narrowed it down to Sidekick and Chimp. After putting both of them on my bike and thinking for a bit, I realized that the sidekick's slanted opening (right hand) would allow my dominant hand to reach and grip it easily. .So glad I chose this one! On my first ride I put it to the test, grabbed my camelbak and hurled it out of the cage at speed with no problem. In addition, the shape makes it very easy to place the bottle back without even looking. It's great for a camel tank (I think it's a big cold model). It's so tight that it doesn't go anywhere, but it's easy enough to turn around while riding. Highly recommended!
