I use it on my Metabo/Hitachi NR90AE(S1) nailer when installing fairings. I mostly use it as a damage free option instead of the small hard plastic/synthetic rubber options you can buy specifically for this gun which wear out too quickly and keep deflating as they wear out. Thing is, you don't want to use set screws to flush mount this front to your gun if you're also going to be using it for framing. So, of course, the advice is to use thumbscrews, but they tend to come loose quite often. Place one or two turns of sealing tape over the thumbscrew threads and trim off the excess. You'll need to reapply the next time you use a siding gun or after you pick it up to use it as a frame again, but here it is. All of this to say that the Flush Drive Nose Adapter works great as a damage free option for your skeleton pistol or as a flush mounted screwdriver.
