I have to say I was very impressed with what I received! I've got more skin than I've probably ever used in my life-----but geez, I probably got it baby when the next need arises (I hope)! I suppose it needs to be laser cut due to its exceptional width CONVENIENCE! Not only that, it unrolls and lays perfectly flat - unlike a lot of other things that seem to suffocate when trying to lay flat! This isn't your mother's cowhide - it's so supple you'll almost wonder if it's actually made from a cow! almost mostly square if that helps anyone. Unfortunately for me it was too much for my needs but I'm more than happy to have it on hand. Would recommend to anyone who needs the same measurements - it's so hard to find good lace style leather these days :(Oh and it's not some glued crap. It's a real cowhide leather laced up top to bottom :) It could be: Elasticity // Width = Non-Variety // Flat Hold // and Gorgeous Taboo! :) (Treat with conditioner to keep it that way, of course, but even if it's about "outdoor patio area to hang something" or "hanging garden tools" - that would be abFab!) PS: The main photos of the Sellers absolutely do not do it justice. it's pure lace, nothing sloppy. PPS: If, like me, you still find it too thick, you will hardly find anything thinner and more subtle/stretchy here under "Search for leather or cowhide". For that, I suggest you look for Buckskin Lace. still durable (not as strong, though.) and usable, but not as durable. It will be the best of both worlds if you want real leather. -or-tied-up outside'!
