I bought the first one when it was a good deal so I had everything I needed for a quick fix needed when one of my parrots bit a hole in my clothes. Cheeky little troublemakers! Since they don't fix what they break, I have to do it and it's nice to have a set on hand that's easy to store. I had it for a while but didn't realize until I had to use it today, that I never wrote a review for it. Seller, I apologize. The case is very compact, zips open easily (I have severe arthritis and I have a very hard time with any clasps) and all items are held in place with separate elastic straps sewn into the case. . The kit is basic, but it has almost everything you need for repairs: needles of various sizes, 16 spools of thread in various colors [including 2 extra white and black], scissors, a ripper in a separate holder [no sticky fingers!] , needle. Needle threader, tape measure, some small safety pins, and even some small buttons and a thimble! I rarely need a tape measure or ruler, but when I do, it's always nice have a measuring tape handy. I keep it in my purse, glove compartment and cross-counting drawer. I've noticed a few comments about the poor quality of the tools, but the sewing supplies are expensive and it would cost me a lot more to make my own tool set, so I don't really care. When a friend stayed with me for a few days she used this set and she liked it so I gave her one of mine so I might order a larger size as a spare. The only thing that is inconvenient is that there was only one needle threader in the kit [I don't know if there should be 2 like in new kits] and it broke. I rely heavily on this tool because my hands are numb from arthritis. Another suggestion is
