IT WOULD BE PERFECT IF IT HAD ALL EIGHT (8) ties/loops as advertised. I liked it until I discovered the lack of loops needed to hold the quilt in place. First night: best sleep in 20 years! For the first time in 8 years I slept soundly! I am an elderly man with arthritis and woke up really refreshed. It has all the qualities I should be looking for: 1. 100% cotton, 2. glass beads, 3. smaller squares (which prevent the glass beads from moving). 4. Weight: 20 pounds; and 5. Machine wash on gentle cycle (but hand wash is better). Update July 2019: I simply cover my torso (waist to shoulder) with a blanket when the weather is too warm - works almost as well as getting my brain to feel comfortable and protected during sleep. Recommend paying a little more and getting one that actually has 8 loops to hold it in the duvet cover (it REALLY needs all 8 loops to hold it in place).
