Good for the price.
I bought the 701AT about 5 months ago and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap player although the Toshiba SD1600 sounds good. Anyway, I haven't had any major problems with it when playing regular DVDs. However, I'm an anime fan and sometimes on these low budget DVDs the player likes to skip back a split second before moving on to the next. However, this is easily fixed by simply rewinding a second, but it's annoying. Other than that, it's a good player.
