Review on πŸ”₯ Raspberry Pi Cooling Heatsink by UCTRONICS by Adam Matthews

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Serves its purpose, but the fit and finish are below average. See UPDATE.

Serves its purpose and has a good design, but the manufacturer needs to improve the build quality. The metal and finish of the rack is low. There were deep scratches that were evident on the metal before painting. Where the holes are knocked out at the end, the front panel is kinked in a few places. Two stands for installing the IP were installed askew. I really should have returned it, but I wanted this frame to be buttoned up and not have any of the manufacturing flaws that would affect the use of the product. UPDATE: I've upgraded my rating from 3 to 4 stars. After seeing my complaints about the build quality, the seller sent another unit and lowered the original price. The new one has none of the previous problems. First class service!

Pros
  • Easy to Install---Remove the plastic film from the top layer of thermal tape, and then stick the thermal tape on the bottom of the dual fan. Install the dual fan on your Raspberry Pi 4 Model B motherboard, then connect the red wire to the second pin and the black wire to the third pin. Attach two heatsinks to the capacitance chip and the LAN chip.
Cons
  • Discontinued
