I’ve used my new Instant Cold Brew Brewer a few times now, and I am enjoying it. I have been doing the 16 oz size which is the minimum amount. The suggested time for 16 oz is 15 minutes, but I do 20 minutes. It calls for 3.5 scoops for this size, but I do use heaping scoops. You need to use either medium or course grounds. So far I’ve just used some pre-ground coffee, I have gotten around to grinding my own beans yet.You just use room temp water, so I’ve been using water straight from the tap. It is very easy to operate. Add your water, then put the filter in and add your coffee scoops, press the touch screen to increase to the time that you want to use and hit start. When finished, open the lid and remove the filter and put the lid back on and turn to open. I then pour it over ice. I do notice that there is a bit of sludge at the bottom, but I just don’t pour that last little bit into my cup.Unscrew the bottom of the filter and discard the coffee grinds, I do this over our compost bin, but over the trash can works too. After that I give everything a good rinse, and it’s ready to go.
