Make sure you understand how it works!

If I had a good understanding of how this device works I would look for something else. I wanted to use it as a second screen for my Macbook Pro so I could stream something to the big screen while still working on my laptop. After connecting it to your TV and selecting the correct HDMI input, an instruction screen will appear on the TV screen. You then connect to the Mirascreen via your laptop's WLAN. THIS MEANS YOU CANNOT USE THE WIFI INTERNET AT THE SAME TIME. The only way to both have internet access and use Mirascreen is to connect to the internet with an ethernet cable to your router. I assumed you were connecting Mirascreen to Wi-Fi, but that's not the case. I agree with another viewer that Bluetooth is better. Tried it on my iPhone too. There is one small application that is a bit confusing. It works the same way: connect to the worldscreen using your phone's wifi. That means I'm accessing the internet over the cellular network, not over Wi-Fi. If you have lots of data and a fast cellular connection, this isn't a problem, but if you've relied on Wi-Fi for internet access, you're out of luck.
