Review on πŸ”¬ Yvelines Formaldehyde Multifunctional Detector: Comprehensive Test, Measure & Inspect by Mark Lodge

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm not sure how to rate this; see details; price right?

Overall, this seems like a useful and legitimate counter. I got it because I wanted a CO2 meter to casually check for air changes in relation to occupancy (Hello 2020 🦠) which looks like it will do that. After a 2-minute run, some values still need time to level off. But here's the thing. CO2 includes "crosstalk" from VOCs. As far as I can tell, if someone spills acetone or alcohol nearby (even in amounts you can't feel), you'll get inaccurate CO2 readings. So... I don't know. It's convenient, cheap and the USB charging is fantastic. And of course there's formaldehyde in it because it's Chinese and. Spring . that dry wall over there.

Pros
  • NOTE - It is recommended to close the door and window when testing indoors; It takes about 60 minutes to test TVOC CO2 formaldehyde (it only takes about 3-15 minutes to test a small space like cabinet, drawer, etc.). If you have any questions, please contact our customer service. We will always be by your side.
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging
