I am a music lover, good sound is very important to me. However, to set up my computer, I use a 49-inch ultra-wide computer monitor and I needed decent low-profile speakers that would fit under my wide monitor, so I went with this set because the speakers are both vertical and can be positioned horizontally. It includes a subwoofer. I wanted to buy some really good monitor speakers, but I like neat setups, especially in my work environment, so I was fine with just going for good speakers. I wasn't overwhelmed but I was impressed. was easy and I had multiple connection options, which is nice. After connecting the speakers, the sound was surprisingly good. Better than I expected. Compact speakers sound and look great. The low profile speakers are perfect for my very tall and wide monitor. The speakers have rubber bumpers to eliminate rattling and there is some slight distortion when the volume is cranked up hard. I only use my computer for business, but I enjoy listening to music without the need for high fidelity. The system disturbs everyone in the house while I work. This is great value. I am happy about my purchase. I think gamers will love these speakers too.
