Black + Decker Mouse Sander with patented hole pattern and sandpaper size

I received this product in exchange for my honest review through the Revain Vine program. The seller in the BLACK + DECKER store lists this as "BLACK+DECKER BDEMS200C 1.2A Mouse Sander". This is a small corded mouse sander that allows me to get into nooks and crannies that an orbital sander can't. Figure 1 shows the top of the grinder with the top of the dust collection filter pushed to the side. Photo 2 is a side view. On fig. 3 shows a small Velcro sandpaper holder with a hole pattern from BLACK + DECKER. A sheet of ordinary silicon carbide paper "Mouse" (not B+D) (see Fig. 3) is not suitable. The hole pattern does not align and the paper is too large. So I tried another sheet of universal "mouse" aluminum oxide sandpaper. With the same two problems. This leads me to think that BLACK+DECKER wants me to ONLY use THEIR special mouse sanding sheets. Even if I ignore the paper size issue and leave the regular sheets glued to the edges of the backing, the holes don't line up to allow the sander to pick up (vacuum) the wood dust created by the sanding. I'm deducting one star for this design, which I really didn't like. Figures 5, 6 and 7 show how to attach the hard-to-reach grinding head. I can definitely use this feature! This was a useful feature as the paper is easy to trim to fit this small mount that only attaches with a Phillips head screw. This mill is connected with a cord about 6 feet long. Comfortable to hold. Aside from requiring a special Black + Decker mouse size sandpaper with a weird hole pattern I'd be happy with this tool, it sands well. I feel like I should be able to use any brand of sandpaper designed for the Mouse sander.

Cons
