Review on 🦈 Enhanced SharkBite 23036-0000LF Compression Angle Stop Valve, 1/2 Inch x 3/8 Inch Push-to-Connect, for PEX, Copper, CPVC, PE-RT Plumbing Systems by Jack Ford

First of all I hate plumbing and after 20 years in an old house about 30 miles out of town where local dealers charge "a little more for a zip code" the only what is I hate worse than plumbing trying to find a plumber on short notice. I used Sharkbites in my kitchen remodel ten years ago and absolutely loved it. The compression valve under the bathroom sink failed 2 days ago, about a week after I just replaced the floor. I went to the local hardware store to buy another compression valve and after 50 years the copper tubing was too worn and not very comfortable to work with. In fact, the new one was dripping so badly we had to leave the house's main valve off - nothing beats going back to the outside lines (with a campervan) for a few nights. Hoping I ordered one of these. from Revane and then waited patiently. The local hardware store doesn't have them, well, I won't squeak them with hinges anymore. 10 minutes after this thing arrived I took off the old (new) compression valve and ring, wiped the pipe and cracked this thing open. He turned on the water and crossed his fingers. Ideal! I won't be pulling out the vanity and cutting the drywall to solder a new connector tonight! I have 4 years to go before I sell the house (and find new home staff) - I suspect they will be of wonderful service to the future owners.
