When working with woodworking tools and hard wood with sharp edges, these gloves serve well. The velcro is starting to not keep the cuff closed as I prefer. Velcro on the back allows you to close the end of the cuff to prevent sawdust from entering the glove. The fingers are firm but not too firm and offer good dexterity, which is very convenient when working with charging devices. found they help keep fingers flexible and warm in store in temperatures above freezing. I do not recommend using when wet or leather gloves in wet areas.
