Small and compact and they work. However, on my previous laptop, I had a semi-circular velcro; and I liked them more because they definitely stay in place. To do this, you need to guess the positioning - and hope you get it right. I was a little uncomfortable with proper positioning. I'm typing with this one below now and it's ok. I will keep and use it. It's just a little tricky if you move your laptop around a bit.
