I purchased this mirror to replace the driver's side mirror on my 2002 GMC Sierra Denali as the original mirror started to separate from the body. I was a bit worried that this replacement wouldn't do the trick as the reviews on how it fits and looks are wrong but I'm very happy to say that for the price this mirror is fantastic and pretty basic. To install. I'm not sure why others had trouble installing it, but it worked fine for my car model. The hardest part of the installation was applying enough pressure to fully install all the clamps on the back. Perhaps this is one of the reasons some people claim the mirror doesn't fit because it takes an amazing amount of effort to attach. I found it a little easier by slightly bending the clips back on the new mirror, but it was still quite difficult. Others have stated that the optical quality of the mirror is poor, but I don't think so either. a business. The mirror comes with a protective plastic layer that needs to be removed. Once removed, the mirror is virtually indistinguishable from the original. Overall I highly recommend this product for the price.
