Giving 5 stars because there really is nothing wrong with the product or the price. perfect tool to carry. However, I prefer my large 24x36 inch cutting mat and the thick wool felt mat. The silvery finish of the ironing material is slippery, while my 3/4 thick wool felt mat is hard and grippy. Instead, I prefer a wool rug and a large cutting mat. I use it to hold little squares and stuff like that I still have to put together - use it as a file folder :) It saves me from losing or dropping the small pieces so it tucks away safely on the side, doesn't crease won't get lost The unit is very well made, very durable and has served me well until I invested in my large cutting mat and a wool felt mat, perfect for starting out as a quilter or to take to class.
