Purchased these gel pens on May 1, thinking I’d be overly ambitious about coloring all throughout quarantine. Used them for a good month or so, coloring up a storm. The colors are beautiful, some bleed more than others, and some just don’t work. Didn’t think I was at that stage to switch to the refill, so I opted to not use the colors that didn’t work.Fast forward 3 months later, I’ve started coloring again. Some appear to be half used (certainly not from my 6-8 pages I’ve colored before), and some still won’t flow. I switched to the refill for DG18, gave it a little shake, and yellow ink came splattering out the end. Luckily it didn’t get anywhere but a drop on my hand, but I wasn’t expecting something like that to happen at all.Overall, I’m mildly impressed with this set, but don’t feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth of use. It’s frustrating to have a set this large, with refills, and some of the pens won’t color. They’re comfortable to use, and the colors that do glide across the page are fun to use.
