We have a Nutone central vacuum The system will used for 18 years and recently we had to replace the hose. The original hose is much heavier and stronger than this replacement. On the original hose, the walls are very heavy and more or less strong (I stepped on them many times without damaging the hose). roll up the hose by hand without much effort. The ends also seem very flimsy and probably won't hold up. The time will show.
