Cheap Retaining Clips
The picture shows what looks like 8 rubber squares. Four have small metal clips so that when the metal bars are pushed through, the clips in the rubber will grab and hold the bar securely. I had to order several of these sets as some of the rubber tips were missing the metal clips. I think we get what we pay for these days. Clips in rubber tips that are supposed to hold the poles are CHEAP!
