Ideal for well-protected shoes. They're a bit stiff at first, but after they broke after just a few days, they feel great. So far they seem very durable and well built, I haven't had a chance to try them in the rain as I live in the desert, but if the situation arises I think they should be pretty durable in terms of waterproofing without it to be heavily exposed impact. I can recommend it to anyone who wants a casual functional riding shoe. Update 7/22/21 stuck in the rain, my bike and I got wet in the summer monsoon here in Arizona but my feet were still dry, very waterproof! 100% recommended!
