Review on Wagner QuickStop ZD1114 Ceramic Disc Brake Pads by David Berry

I bought them in January 2017. During installation I noticed that the clamps didn't fit together very well and it took some convincing to get them to fit well enough to insert the pads. Immediately after installation, I noticed that the brakes were getting hot, that is, after stopping at the bottom of a long hill near my house, the brakes squeaked against the rotors for several kilometers until they cooled. There was also a creak on first braking at any temperature. The problems got worse and worse over time. I change the pads with more than 50% remaining life because the noise makes me sick. I've been a Wagner fan for years and this set convinced me to try other brands. It's embarrassing driving the car I'm proud of, keeping clean and looking good, only to have everyone turn their heads when they hear me squeaking past their houses.
