I think most people using this have some wrist issues including pain and tenderness so why not sandwich the area the metal rod? and your tender wounded flesh? I redid the bar because the band was just in the wrong place, but that's only half the problem. When I saw the "Aircast" I thought it had a pump like the other Aircast product I bought. It was wonderful. If there was that kind of cushioning around the thumb-wrist area that would be great. I can't wear it like this. The photo shows where the seam has grown together.🙁
