This is an amazing cooking tool. I wish I had gotten one sooner. It's easy to read, right now. Has a magnet on the back for placement over the oven, fridge or grill. I grill and smoke a lot, along with regular oven and stovetop cooking, so I've used an instant read thermometer a lot for the last 3 or 4 months that I've had one. I had no problems with that at all. The price was amazing compared to other instant read thermometers I've reviewed on Revain that do the same.
