WARNING THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH iMessage, FaceTime OR APP DOWNLOADS. Not sure why, but these 3 don't work on any wired connection (including USB internet sharing from a Mac). Maybe that has something to do with the fact that they all require an Apple ID. All other applications work, including third-party ones. In fact, I used it to write this review! It works just as well as sharing the internet via USB from a laptop! I haven't had any real problems with this thing yet. On one occasion it would not connect to my phone at all, although I strongly suspect it was my phone as I had a similar experience with my MacBook and Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter. (After a few minutes the laptop restarted due to an error, after which everything worked fine.) I don't notice the speed limit of 100 Mbit / s, since we have 3 Mbit / s Internet. The connection to the Internet takes about 9 seconds from the moment of connection, which is not too bad. The Lightning connector is durable. The wire is thick. There are no problems connecting the network cable. It doesn't seem to use that much power. I have an iPhone SE 1 and 1 hour use with it drained the battery by 20%. It has a blue light in the ethernet part that lights up when you plug it into your phone (the lighting is a bit uneven, but still pretty cool). In general, a good adapter!
