Review on Lafiucy Inches Micron Sediment Cartridge by Robert Buenconsejo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality and value for money

These 5 packs of 5 micron polyspun filters are great value for money. At around $6 per filter, they cost the same as competing versions. These 20" versions are great for filters around the home and even for commercial use. The 5 micron rating along with the large size still ensures good water flow. I would recommend that you have an inlet pressure of at least 60psi to maintain good water pressure and flow. after the filter. If you combine this along with an activated carbon filter, you should see good performance and improved water quality. You can also install a centrifugal filter beforehand to extend the change intervals. I usually change my mud filters every 6 months and the activated carbon every year. It costs about $50 a year to have filtered water for the whole house. I really like its benefits when washing, bathing, brushing teeth, etc. An optional reverse osmosis filter for the kitchen to produce even better filtered water for drinking, cooking and also for water and ice in the fridge. This sediment filter in front of the reverse osmosis filter also helps to extend the filter change intervals. It's not a US brand but appears to be of the same quality as the ones I've been using for years. 4 solid stars.
