A colleague in my kitchen "borrowed" my old instant read thermometer and I haven't seen it since so the Greater Goods thermometer arrived in perfect condition. Time. I am very happy with this thermometer. Like all Greater Goods products, it's incredibly well made. Unlike many other intentional thermometers on the market, the thermometer feels good. It's incredibly easy to use and I love that it has a calibration feature. My only (very minor) complaint is that this isn't an instant read thermometer. Sometimes it takes up to 10 seconds for a high temperature item to heat up, about the same as my last thermometer (so no real complaint). However, I have used some thermometers that measure the temperature of the same object in just 2-3 seconds.
