
These are good shelves. I use them for cooling grates and for baking. The challenge is the baking. They are made of stainless steel and are a good wire size and the rods are all parallel (rather than braided/criss-cross) so they are easy to clean with minimal sticking. My old racks are made from a thinner non-stick material which by design sticks to things like chicken making it difficult to keep the meat or skin intact and also difficult to clean while protecting the "non-stick" surface. A large fist fits perfectly in my standard size jelly roll pan, which is great for roasting chicken thighs and other things I like to spread out. I haven't used them under the brazier, but I assume they're fine. . Performance, cleaning, and a variety of sizes make this rack set a great choice.
