Don’t put in oven. I did a heat test on the stove and it will stay cool enough to pick up for a very long time on high heat. After I took it off the heat I held the handle about an inch from the hot element. It definitely would be too hot to pick up in the oven! I tested the lodge brand as well and I had the same results.Bottom line. These are fine for stove top but don’t expect to take it off after cooking on stove top to put it in the oven. I can just imagine the food going everywhere! Only because they are silicone and not slippery as they are intended to be. They create a great group but does not come off the pan easily.Again this is intended and not a defect. So I only gave it three stars for effectiveness due to its inherent nature, not a problem with it.
