Review on 🍳 Tramontina 80114/537DS Professional 14-inch Aluminum Nonstick Restaurant Fry Pan, USA-Made by Jason Lockwood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lots of pots for money!

Advantages: 1) Lightweight. I bought this pan to put on the stovetop and baste two large steaks with oil and garlic at the same time, and I think it's light enough to make this task a lot easier than the cast iron I've used. Size 2. It's huge! My dad and I always joked that it was a 12-strip pan, meaning you could cook 12 strips of bacon at a time. That may not be true, but it looks like it's possible. Future. NOW! 3) heat distribution. The ad is correct. Aluminum conducts heat very well, and even with a huge 14-inch pan on an 8-inch burner, the cooking temperature on the outside of the pan is very close to center at the rim. 4) Easy to clean. That. The coating makes cleaning so easy that I was able to use a kitchen sink sprayer to blast an egg and cheese that cooked in less than 10 seconds. 5) price. I don't know much about skillets, but I do know that some really good skillets can go for $200-$300 and up, so I'd say for a small amount that's a very good deal.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • No power
