The price was what motivated me to purchase this model as I bought the 60 inch model. This model is about $100 smaller than other competitors. As for the look, I love it! I installed it on the wall as I live in an apartment complex and it was pretty easy to set up and install. We strongly recommend that you have another person help you as the device is heavy. The order came 3 days earlier, also a plus. There are 12 different colors for embers and flames and a dimmer button for the display brightness. The board is fine. Easy to use but I don't think the range is that great. However, this is not a violation of the terms of the contract. As for the heating element, I live in South Florida so I won't be using that feature. I accidentally turned it on and the heat output seemed normal, but the heat output is only 12 x 2 inches so I'm pretty sure it's fine for heating a small space, but that's about it. If you want to liven up a room, buy it. 😎
