Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Enhanced Creality Aluminum Leveling Springs: Enhanced Performance and Durability by Andy Hearshman

The springs are great - are the handles broken or the struts scratched?

**Update** I originally gave a 2-star review and the seller asked me for help. Looks like I did the install wrong (make sure you're using the correct side when installing). I am increasing to 4 stars. The only downside I have over buttons is that the standard Ender 3 Pro buttons tell you "up/down" so you know which way to go if you need to make small alignment adjustments. They don't tell you anything which is useless if you are a beginner. In addition, these are excellent springs and really good grips. I'm new to 3D printing so I'll be the first to admit I have no idea what I'm doing. The springs were a great replacement. I received this kit and glass bed for the Ender 3 Pro. As a bonus, I was pleased with the nice handles. They are a good weight and appear to be of good quality. Unfortunately, as I put them on and started to tighten, I noticed that 2 of the 4 knobs were scratching the underside of the bracket that held the bed in place. This made adjustment difficult. I also noticed that it was almost crooked. When I looked at the standard grips on the Pro, the grips have a design that prevents this, which these red ones don't. Not worth sending back because I like feathers, but maybe just look at feathers and print the big handles you want? Maybe I have defective pens?

Pros
  • metal material. The metal material is stronger and more tightening than plastic nuts.
Cons
  • Requires socket
