I bought this to use with silhouette cut vinyl decals. My main goal was to make my own decals for my truck with my company information and different designs. But on the side, in my free time, I make handicrafts out of wood and glass. With two different goals, I have a love-hate relationship with this carbon paper. FOR 1. The lines make it easy to get your decals/designs straight.2. Easy to stick to your design. A few swipes with a scraper or credit card and it's stuck. No need to use elbow grease to make it stick. Your design won't move after sticking on the transfer paper.3. Lasts longer. For example, I made some smaller stickers with my company name and logo on them and stuck them in my truck's console. A few months later, despite the summer heat and all the romping around, they were still in great shape and moving into the truck with no problems. CONS: 1. It's almost too sticky when used to transfer decals to pickup truck windows. Once it got stuck (even just in the corner) it was too hard to untie to straighten. I ended up wasting a 12" x 12" decal because the wind caught it and part of it smashed against the window. He ruined the vinyl sticker trying to tear it off. Operator error, of course, but it was too sticky for that. However, when transferring decals to wood crafts, it works great! Enough stick to hold it up but still pulled off beautifully. **In addition, due to its stickiness, thinner vinyl tends to tear when the transfer tape is peeled off. Make sure you use thicker, higher quality vinyl.**2. The white paper is thick and beautiful and easy to work with, but almost too thick to see through. I had a hard time leveling my lightweight (silver gloss) vinyl because I couldn't see it. Then it threw me into a dead end trying to build it directly in the project. I usually keep these ready for specific projects. I would buy this again. The seller was great! The delivery was quick and safe.
