Review on 🪓 Naniwa Fine Hayabusa 4000 Whetstone by Fuzzhead Nelson

Exceptional performance. But it seems to swell and change shape when exposed to water. Even if you don't "saturate" it, there will still be expansions and contractions. After 4 months of ownership I found cracks on mine. I think this is due to uneven expansion and contraction associated with water hitting the surface in a "splash and go" pattern and drying unevenly. I love naniwa products, but I don't like how they feel less durable.
