installed in five minutes, no problem. Worked great for five minutes then the spine fell out and the pins and springs separated. I tried to glue it with super glue but ended up getting a few pieces. I'm not new to this type of work and I haven't abused it or put much stock in it - the mechanism is just cheap junk and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Many complaints relate to a switch that doesn't work. no worse than a (poorly designed) OEM. But this thing fell apart within minutes of installing it and now I have to hurry to find another switch before my next planned trip. Avoid this brand.
