I've just bought my first teak patio furniture set (July 2019) and used a bottle to cover 2 chairs, a bench and a table. And I made up and down. Don't build it up, make one piece of wood at a time. Update January 2021 Teak cleaned and reapplied. Take some time to clean with water and a towel the night before. It made the patio furniture look good again. One bottle is enough for 2 chairs, a bench and a table, including the bottom - be sure to wipe all the slats, including between them and the legs where water enters the tree.
