Clutch switch Standard Motor Products NS193. This clutch switch, poorly designed and too expensive for everyone. If you don't replace it when it fails, you won't be able to start your car safely. It should come with a small plastic cap holding it in place, but it doesn't, and it costs extra. If you live in the Pacific Northwest where it rains a lot, the U-shaped design allows it to fill with moisture from wet roads and splash under the hood onto the clutch perch pointing down into your car, and then the water stagnates inside this plastic tube. and the cheap steel rods and springs inside will rust and render it unusable. I've replaced 5 or 6 of these with stock transmissions in a few of my trucks over the years, but they keep pushing the price up: $66.73 or $68.78, which is still cheaper than auto parts stores. Unfortunately, people there are forced to look for cheaper foreign products.
