My husband bought these for our new Tesla Model 3 as he couldn't stand the gloss black center console. I wasn't interested. I have to admit up front that they look fantastic when used correctly. The console blends seamlessly with the matte black seats. However, there is a small problem with the installation. My husband watched a 45 minute instructional video before using them so let that be the measure of his commitment. The actual process with my help was not much shorter. My husband is endowed with patience, determination, perseverance and the hands of a surgeon (but he's not a surgeon). and I could see that all these qualities were being put to the test. If it had been laid by me—a short-tempered hothead with very little patience—it would have ended up at the bottom of our trash can in about five minutes. There were times I wanted to rip it off and throw it away and I just helped. This included cleaning, dusting, careful leveling, frequent lifting to reposition, careful smoothing to remove bubbles, and careful trimming of anything superfluous. It took forever. But it looks FANTASTIC. So judge yourself by your temperament and tread carefully.
