
The hair should be slightly damp. Once in curlers, I dried with a hair dryer for about 1/2 hour. I took off the curlers after 4 hours, the curls lasted about twice as long as they did then. There's a learning curve. YouTube videos can help with this. I didn't see any when I took out the curlers. The first few times I just pulled the curling iron out of my hair and my daughter complained that it hurt. I found that if I unrolled/straighten the curlers and then removed them from my hair, it didn't hurt. So basically do the opposite of what you do to attract them.
