We've shipped stuff across 3 states with one carrier. I needed something to secure items to my carrier that I could trust. My original plan was to use strong ratchet straps. We did a shorter trip a month earlier and used the ratchet straps as a test run. Although they seemed to work, 3 out of 4 plastic handles broke on first use. I sent them back and bought these. When I took them out of the box it became clear that they were better constructed. Thicker straps, no plastic handle, and smoother ratchet. They also glow in the dark, which is very convenient. They easily prevented our items from shifting even slightly and are in great condition to be used again.
