stays pretty good applied in the middle of the day and left overnight and didn't wake up with raccoon eyes the next day. I left it on the next day to see how long it would last, and when it started "dripping" off my lashes towards mid-afternoon, I rubbed my eyes. It goes further and reminds me of the more expensive brand that comes in tubes as packaging, both mascaras are like paper/plastic layers that absorb into your lashes and actually slide off your lashes when you pick them up or remove your makeup. Very waterproof but if you get too wet the mascara will come off BUT unlike regular mascaras which smear all over your eyes. It leaves only tiny spots like bits of plastic under the eyes and on the cheeks. I like it although when applying I have to use a different brush to detack the lashes.
