As an avid coffee drinker, this product brought more complexity that took an unreasonably long time to complete. For the sake of transparency, I have used the suggested Nespresso tabs for this machine. By carefully following the manufacturer's instructions, the amount produced by the machine was less than expected for a 1ml espresso shot. Additionally, it took a significant amount of time (beyond the advertised 5 minutes) for the water to heat up (at room temperature, not cold) in 8 minutes and 32 seconds. Then I wondered if it was worth taking this bulky "portable" device to end up with a resounding NO. With the exception of portable handheld espresso machines, I've never seen the promising product anywhere near the electrical product I'm talking about today. This poses many risks, such as damage from submersion in water, which can lead to electrocution or damage, the manufacturer warned. Maybe one day it will get better. For now, I'm sticking with the old-fashioned method.
